Julian (or Julien) Mandel
* 1872 Alsace, France
† 1935 Paris
Julian Mandel was a well known commercial French photographer, focussing on female nude photography. His photographic style was artfully composed with classical posing, located in the studio and outdoor. Contrary to other photographers of his time, his nude photographs were published on postcards with his full signature instead of an acronym and have been sold in Paris from 1910 to the 1930ies. There is discussion about the fact that his name was just a pseudonym.
Recently the English Wikipedia shows several photos of Julian Mandel, copyrights owned by the family.
