A boudoir is a term for a woman's private room for bathing and dressing, especially for the wealthy women of the Belle Epoque or Victorian era.
There has also developed a term called "boudoir-photography", which means a type of sensual and erotic photography of women, posing in "their" room in lingerie or partly dressed, surrounded by dainty props.
This is where our website actually got its name from. So we chose to present a selection of our French Postcards, which fit to the topic of "boudoir scenes". These lovely cards are actually our favorite ones.
