The history of the photo studio Walery is a little bit obscure and difficult to research.
There is a photo studio at London, 164. Regent Street, and another one at Paris, 9. Rue de Londres.
And we found another photo studio called Alfred Ellis & Walery from London, 51. Baker Street, which was established in 1884, obviously the predecessor of Walery's own photo studio.
It is not reliably confirmed, that both studios in London and Paris were owned by the same man, Lucien Walery (1863-1935?).
