Catania's wonderfully illustrated books provides valuable information about artists of etchings and lithographs of the Belle epoque in the "boudoir-style".
Main chapters are dedicated to William Ablett, Paul-Emile Felix, Georges Grellet, Jean Hardy, Louis Icart and Maurice Millière.
The author provides information about title, size and year of each artwork. Next to an index and bibliography the book contains a Boudoir Art Price Guide for collectors, which for sure is already outdated but nevertheless very interesting.
The book is kind of unique about that topic and we recommend it to any admirer of artists of the Belle Epoque. Unfortunately it is out of stock and only available at second hand book stores.
